Question
What do self-made billionaires say about the best industries to invest in right now?
Response
The billionaires and millionaires interviewed point to a few areas. One venture capitalist said AI is the big opportunity and urged people to learn everything about AI and start building with tools like Claude code. A Silicon Valley entrepreneur said cyber is going to be hugely important because AI makes it easier to fake everybody out, and he pointed to switchgear and energy infrastructure, where he said demand is so high it can't be met. A Jamaican-born investor said there is a shift occurring towards nuclear energy. A Nigerian stock exchange leader said AI is a path for the future but that agriculture is the next frontier in Nigeria. A Monaco investor said AI needs power, so anyone who can generate sustainable energy to feed it is where you want to be. The oil and gas operator said natural gas, not oil, is where he is focused, calling it the cleanest burning fossil fuel and tied to data centers.

The best thing for all my young entrepreneurs is learn everything there is to know about AI. Start learning how to code using Claude code. Build a company. Build a website. Build something. It's the greatest period of time in history for entrepreneurship.

The reality is the entire industry is 30, 40, 50 years old. So, you have to replace all the old stuff. Plus, there's a bunch of new data centers take anywhere from a small data center will take 15 to$20 million with switch gear.

There's a saying whenever there's a shift in the dominant source of energy, there's a shift in economic power. Right now, there's a shift occurring towards nuclear.
