Question
Should I put my money into real estate or the stock market?
Response
The interviews point in both directions, and several guests favored real estate, while others recommended the stock market. On the stock market side, one guest told viewers to put money in an index fund, and another said to buy the S&P 500 and that it has returned about 10% a year on average over the last 100 years. On the real estate side, one guest said a home is a terrible investment, but that buying real estate is generational and that multifamily is the easiest type to get into. Another said real estate has always been a great investment because there's no more land. Dave Ramsey said to pay cash and move slow, and that he doesn't borrow money. Since the guests disagree on the vehicle, the choice depends on which approach fits your situation.
